My Child

1. How does it feel to be the parent of your child?
Although there are challenging times with him, but to work hard and just to get him to smile is worth all the difficulties. Parenting is not an easy task some children are easier to care for but parenthood is never easy.
2. How is your child developmentally the same or different from other children at the various ages?
My child is developmentally the same as his peer group, he just has a difficult time focusing in class but when he is focus his intelligence is shown through his effort.
3. What professionals/agencies do you deal with? What services are available to you and your child?
I regularly keep in contact with his doctor about his medications and a local ADHD support group. There are local services that offer strategics to help parents with children with ADHD to help their children succeed in school and offer them the healthiest lifestyle as possible.
4. How did you find out about the services.
I found about these services through my neighbor and his 2nd grade teacher.
5. What financial burden, if any, are you experiencing?
The most financial difficulty that I face is his medical bill. He has monthly medications that needs refill and it is an ongoing payment.
6. What other information do you want to share?
I personally don't look as my child as inferior to any other child. His physical level is just higher than others and isn't that true for every characteristics? Some children are much more nicer than others, some are much shorter than others, etc.
